The Alphabet Post Challenge

• Hello friends and fellow book lovers! I honestly wasn’t sure if I wanted to do this post because I wasn’t in the mood to talk about things I love. Then I remembered that there is a lot more to be happy about than sad. I still have a job, family, dogs and a million things to be grateful for that don’t include a man. I guess it’s hard to see that sometimes.

  All of that being said, I’d like to thank Jenna. She is the one who tagged me in this and she’s one of my favorite people. She’s always so kind and sweet. I always look forward to her posts and you should, too 😉 Check her out! ❤

  A is for Autumn

  

  The first word I came up with was autumn. While autumn isn’t my favorite season, it’s such a great season. Maybe it’s because I love wearing kind of dreary colors or wearing sweaters but I really do enjoy autumn. Plus there’s something about everything changing that I like.

  B is for Books

  

  Obviously, I’d be remiss to feature books for the letter b. I am a book blog after all so it’s only customary 😉

  C is for Chicken Tenders

  

  I’m gonna be honest here: I’m a super picky eater. One of my favorite things to eat is chicken tenders. If I go to a place and they don’t have any food I like, that’s what I’m ordering. I have had some unfortunate results when eating them but I just can’t stop. I love them. Lol

  D is for Dachshund

  

  Once again, I’m not sure if my newer followers know this but I have a dog and he’s a dachshund mix. His name’s Chopper and he also started my obsession with dachshunds.

  E is for Etsy

  

  Recently, I’ve been obsessed with looking on Etsy and ordering things on there. It’s just such a unique place, full of tons of stuff. Whether I’m looking for a shirt, keychain or a gift, I know I can find something on there. It might be a little bit more expensive but it feels good to know that I’m getting something homemade.

  F is for Family and Friends

  I’m going to steal Jenna’s answer here and go with family and friends. I’m happy to have a pretty good support system around me. I don’t want to post any pictures because I posted pics with my ex and now I regret it. Either way, I’m really thankful for the people I have in my life who support me.

  G is for Goofy Movie

  

  One of my favorite movies, when I was younger, was A Goofy Movie. I think it came out when I was 2 and I loved it so much. I remember rewatching it all the time and as an adult, I like it even more. I just can’t believe that it’s not more popular and that more people don’t like it. Lol

  H is for High-Waisted Jeans

  

  In a previous post, I talked about how much I love to wear sweatpants and leggings. I do love to wear them but if I have to wear jeans, I always wear them high-waisted. I have a weird body shape so they flatter me. I might consider a pair of mid-rise jeans but I WILL NEVER BE IN LOW-RISE JEANS. I will wear high-waisted jeans forever!

  I is for Internet

  

  At first, I couldn’t think of a word for this. Then it finally came to me. Of course, why wouldn’t the word be internet? I love the internet. We didn’t get a computer until I had started high school but honestly I’ve never looked back. I love being on the internet and seeing everything it has to offer.

  J is for Jonas Brothers

  

  No one is shocked by this. I love the Jonas Brothers. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.

  K is for Kill the Boy Band

  

  One of my favorite books I’ve read this year is Kill The Boy Band by Goldy Moldavsky. I think I read it in the middle of February and it was such a great book. I think the book did a great job of embracing fandom while also pointing out what’s wrong with it. I think I’m getting into a reading slump so I might try to reread it. 🙂

  L is for Leggings

  

  Recently, I just got two incredible pairs of leggings. Honestly, I can’t even describe how much I love them. They fit me so well and they work perfectly as pants. I only got them like a week ago but I’ve already worn them 3 times.

  M is for Music

  

  Music is easily one of my favorite things. I’ve been listening to music the entire time I’ve been writing this post. In case you’re curious, I started with Jonas Brothers, moved to Meek Mill, back to Jonas Brothers and now Ariana Grande. Basically, my music tastes are all over the place but I just love listening to music.

  N is for NFL

  

  That gif is everything to me. Also for N, I’m going with the NFL. While I don’t love the NFL or what it stands for, I do love to talk about it, write about it and watch it. Either way, it’s a huge part of my life so I had to include it.

  O is for Olives

  

  I know those aren’t actually olives, but it’s so annoying to try and find a gif of olives. I’m a super picky eater but one thing that I love is olives. Personally, I really enjoy black olives over the green ones, but I’m not picky with them. Easily one of my favorite things to snack on. 🙂

  P is for Pink

  

  Pink is my favorite color. It does seem a little obvious when you look at my blog but I really love pink. I think it’s such a fun color.

  Q is for Quiet

  

  If there’s one thing I love, it’s quiet. Personally, I love for it to be quiet when I’m reading or writing. I can handle a little bit of white noise but I’d prefer no noise. Sometimes I do listen to music but most of the time, I prefer quiet.

  R is for Rose Gold

  

  Another one of my favorite colors is rose gold. I feel like I jumped on the rose gold trend when it was first getting popular. Most people can’t tell because my phone has a case but it’s rose gold. I think rose gold is such a pretty color and I wish more things came in rose gold. Lol

  S is for Sleeping

  

  One of my favorite things to do is sleep. I’m sure everyone else feels that way but I love getting ready for bed. Usually, I like to read or watch Youtube so it makes for a relaxing night. Plus sleeping is pretty great!

  T is for Taco Bell

  

  Once again, I’m not sure how much I mention this on here. However, I really love Taco Bell. It’s probably my favorite restaurant and I’ve basically eaten almost everything they have. I mean I’m not going to eat Mexican pizza but I love Taco Bell regardless of how much they keep getting rid of the rolled chicken tacos.

  U is for U.N.I.

  

  Looking at another post, I saw someone mention their favorite song so I decided to mention one of my favorites. Even though I didn’t mention it in this post, I really love Ed Sheeran. While I do like his newer music, my favorite song by him is U.N.I. As per usual, the lyrics are insightful and in college, I used to fall asleep listening to it. Lol

  V is for Vine

  

  Last year, I got really obsessed with Vine compilations. Even though Vine is shut down, it lives on. When I’m having a bad day or need something to pass the time, I’ll watch Vine compilations haha.

  W is for Writing

  

  This might be another obvious one, but I love to write. I consider writing my passion and I’ve been doing it since basically forever. I remember in high school, I used to write fiction stories and eventually, fanfiction on paper. Once I got my own computer, I started to type up my writing and basically haven’t stopped since. Writing just feels therapeutic to me.

  X is for X-Men

  

  When I was younger, I liked the X-Men movies. I haven’t watched the new ones, but I really want to. I don’t remember much about them but I also couldn’t really think of an answer to this. Lol

  Y is for Youtube

  

  As I mentioned earlier, I love the internet and my favorite thing on the Internet has to Youtube. If I’m on my phone, I’m more than likely watching Youtube. I watch a ton of different videos…whether it be booktube, music, cartoon analysis or fashion videos. I can always find something to watch on there.

  Z is for Zootopia

  

  One of my favorite Disney movies is Zootopia. When I was working on my Top Disney movies, I knew I had to include this one and I think it made the top 5. If you haven’t watched it before, I highly recommend it. With Disney+ coming out soon, we’ll be able to watch anything 😉

  This post was fun but a lot of work! It’s weird how you can’t think of certain things when you’re putting on the spot. I did have some trouble but thankfully, I came up with a word for each of them!
