Disney Princess Hair Tag

Hello friends and fellow book lovers! I’m back with another book tag and this time, I’m SO EXCITED. Even though I don’t talk about it much, I love everything Disney but especially the Disney Princesses. If you’re curious, my favorite princess is Belle but I love them all so there’s that.

Anyways, this tag was created by Kyera’s Library and Book Princess Reviews. I was tagged by the lovely Mandy of Book Princess Reviews in her original post. I’m so excited to get started on this tag so let’s get into the rules and start!

Rules:

  • Link back to Kyera’s original post on Kyera‘s Library and Mandy’s post on Book Princess Reviews so we can see all your answers! (Be sure to do this via pingback, we don’t get notified if you just tag our URLs)
  • Thank the person(s) who tagged you… show the community some love!
  • Obviously, come up with your own wonderful answers!
  • Don’t forget to tag others to keep the tag going!

Best Hair Accessory and Favorite Book Sidekick

27779275

Princess: My favorite hair accessory has always been Belle’s blue bow. I think it really completes her look and I just love it for some reason.

Book: My favorite book sidekick has to be Frank from This Adventure Ends. He’s such a wonderful human being and how could you not love him?

Biggest Hair Change and Plot Twist that Totally Caught You Off-Guard

36142487

Princess: Mulan! I know a lot of princesses go through hair changes but Mulan’s was my favorite. A princess who can rock both long and short hair, I stan.

Book: Anger Is A Gift by Mark Oshiro. I won’t give away this plot twist but it broke my heart into a million pieces. I’m still not fully recovered from it honestly.

Prettiest Updo/Bun and A Book or Author with the most elegant prose

29749085

Princess: Moana! As soon as I saw the prompt about a bun, I thought of how much I loved when Moana’s hair was in a bun. She is #bungoals.

Book: I had a hard time with the question, but I’m going with Wonder Woman: Warbringer by Leigh Bardugo. This is the only Leigh Bardugo book I’ve read but it won’t be my last. Her writing style is so just pretty.

Most Bounce/Body and A book that bounces between multiple time periods

27189194

Princess: Of course I’m going with Princess Jasmine. She has some of the best hair of all the Disney Princesses. It’s super bouncy, full of body and so much volume!

Book: One True Loves tells the story of Emma now, her past love, her current love and everything in between. The multiple time periods are what kept me so interested in the story.

Most Intricate Braid and Favorite Plot with Multiple Storylines that are Woven Together

22840421

Princess: I almost forgot other princesses wore braids…oops because I decided on Rapunzel immediately.

Book: This was another prompt I struggled with. However, I decided on My Lady Jane because it focuses on Edward’s plot and Jane’s plot. The two eventually come together and make for an incredible finale. 🙂

Short and Sweet and A book that’s short and sweet

32146161

Princess: For this one, I’m going with Tiana. It’s kind of hard to tell if her hair is long or short but I’m going with her bob from Almost There. Most of the time, she has it in a bun so I’m not sure 😛

Book: Coffee Boy is an incredibly short book but it’s so adorable. It features a trans-MC, a workplace romance and it’s just the cutest.

Nicest Half-Up, Half-Down Look and A book/character you had a lot of ups and downs with

33815781

Princess: How could I not go with my girl, Belle?

Book: For this one, I’m going with The Wedding Date by Jasmine Guillory. There were points where I’d love this book and then there were points where I wanted to scream at it. I think I’m going to end up having the same relationship with Jasmine Guillory lol.

Medium and Manageable and The Last book you felt right in the middle about

37904310

Princess: For some reason, I saw this gif when I was looking earlier and I thought of Aurora immediately. She has the perfect medium length hair and it’s full of so much body!

Book: I’m going with Text Me When You Get Home because it was such a middle-of-the-road read for me. It was good but not great. It seemed like it was going to be more research-based but it ended up being more about the author’s life. I wish it would have been a blend of the two.

Best Bangs and Eye-Catching Cover

33413915
Princess:
For some reason, I couldn’t think of any other princesses that had bangs so I’m stealing Mandy’s answer. Lol, so Cinderella it is.

Book: Usually I’d go with Emma Mills but I already used her. Instead, I’m going with Nice Try, Jane Sinner as it’s bright orange and captured my eye immediately.

Long and Loose and Longest Book You’ve Read This Year

2

Princess: Pocahontas has the perfect hair and is the perfect princess. That is all.

Book: In 2018, I read the Harry Potter series for the first time. Order of the Phoenix was also the longest book I’ve read this year. It clocks in at 870 pages.

Best Pony and A Book that Swings from POV to POV

36301023

Princess: Technically Megara is not a princess but I’m counting her. She deserves to be a princess and I’ll fight anyone who suggests otherwise. As soon as I thought about princesses with ponytails, she’s the first one who came to my mind 🙂

Book: Talk about a great companion to Meg! My Plain Jane is told from all different character perspectives and I loved that?? I loved being able to see things from different eyes than just one character.

Stunningly Straight and A Book That Made You Want to Dive Right into the Sequel

15749186

Princess: I was trying to think of a princess I haven’t used yet and for this answer, I’m going with Ariel. Her hair is full of volume and body but it’s also pretty straight?? At least I think so lol.

Book: Last year, I binge-read the To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before series and it was such a smart idea. I was ready for the sequel before I even finished the first book. I feel like it’s time for a reread with the movie coming out last month.

Enviable Curls and A Book with Twists and Turns

36381037

Princess: I’ve always loved Merida’s hair. From the color to the curls, it’s sort of a built-in accessory for her. Plus her hair was incredible when I met her at Disneyland 🙂

Book: Weirdly, the book I’m picking is a different princess. I’m going with Cinder as I thought that the book was full of so many twists and turns. Sometimes, it was hard to keep track of what going’s on, who everyone was or what would happen next but it was such a fun read.

Hair Closest To Your Own and A Book That You Strongly Connected To

23310751

Princess: As far as appearances go, Belle’s hair is closest to mine. It’s roughly the same length even though mine is a little longer. It’s also the same color or at least, close haha 🙂

Book: Is anyone surprised by this? Anyways, the book I chose was First & Then by Emma Mills. I love the plot of this book, the MC Devon and I feel like we’re pretty similar. I’m also kind of like Ezra because I love and care too much about football and it’s sometimes off-putting to people?? Lol

Honestly, I could go on and on about this book because I love it so much. It’s also the first Emma Mills book I read so there’s always that special connection ❤

Tag! You’re It

No pressure to do this, but I had a lot of fun so I figured you ladies would too. I’m also not sure who likes Disney and doesn’t lol.

Find me on Twitter & Goodreads

  1. OKAY SO THIS TAG IS GREAT. I LOVVVVVE DISNEY. DISNEY FOREVER! Ahem, okay, time to take my excitement level down a couple of notches. I love that you chose Moana as the perfect bun, because I totally agree. Total #hairgoals there. And My Lady Jane is probably one of my favorite books, so I’m totally stoked to read My Plain Jane at some point (hopefully soon). Thanks for a great and fun post 🙂 All the gifs were perfection.

    1. Yay!!! I’m so happy to hear that 🙂

Haha I knew I had to pick Moana. I’m not sure if she’s actually a Disney princess but she is to me lol.

Yessss I hope you enjoy it 🙂 I liked it just as much as its predecessor.

I’m so glad you enjoyed it! I had a lot of fun making it

  2. Oooooh, I loved your pick of Moana’s bun! I always forget about it since you never see her with pictures with it, but I love it so much. And I super agree with Leigh Bardugo – she has such pretty writing – you’ll definitely love it when you get to her fantasy things where her ultimate prose comes out. And YES with Cinder. I thought I had it down with the original fairytale, but Meyer brought all the turns. Thank you so much for doing the tag, Rebecca, and your answers were fantasticcccc! ❤

    1. Thank you ❤

Ooh that makes me even more excited to pick up her books! Depending on where I go on my days off, I might end up at a bookstore 😛

I really need to get back into the Lunar Chronicles because I liked them but haven't picked up the audiobook again.

You're welcome, thank you for making it! It was a lot of fun<3
