Hello friends and fellow book lovers! It’s been about five months since I did my last KU and Library loans post. Since then, a few things have changed. Firstly, Kindle Unlimited now allows us to borrow more than 10 titles a month which is awesome. I usually don’t check out many as I return them as soon as I read them. Either way, I have tons I want to check out. Second, I got a new library card for the Brooklyn Public Library so I have a lot of anticipated books on hold at the library.
With that being said, let’s talk about my KU loans and then get into my library holds. 😀
Kindle Unlimited Loans
1. Sacrifice (Bloodline Vampires #1)
The first book I have out from KU is Sacrifice by Katee Robert. This is one of her recent additions to KU and I’ve been eager to check it out. I know that this one is a reverse harem/poly romance which sounds really incredible. Plus it’s Katee Robert so of course, the smut is going to be amazing. I just need to finally pick this one up.
2. Love Unsolicited
The next KU loan I have out is Love Unsolicited by Alexandra Warren. This book is a Black love romance and it’s basically a Pretty Woman retelling. Honestly, that just sounds amazing. I know it’s going to be steamy and hopefully, a new favorite. Plus it’s on my August TBR so I have to get to this one.
3. Crave Part 1
The next KU book I have out is Crave Part 1 by Shae Sanders. This is another one I have on my August TBR so hopefully, I’ve read it by now lmao. Either way, this is another reverse harem and it’s about a girl hooking up with one of her favorite childhood bands, I think? Honestly, it sounds super fun and smutty so I’m excited.
4. A Lady of Rooksgrave Manor (Tempting Monsters #1)
The next KU loan is one I picked out for a reason. I saw that Amazon was going to pull this book so I knew I had to get it from KU. I also didn’t realize that this is another reverse harem but apparently, I’m planning on giving that a try this month. It’s also a monster romance and I’m just excited to see if this one lives up to the hype.
5. Twisted Games (Twisted #2)
The final book I have out from KU is Twisted Games by Ana Huang. This is Bridget’s story and it’s a princess-bodyguard romance. I am SO excited to read this one as I loved book 1. I really hope I love it even though it’s super long. I do plan on picking it up during my birthday week so I’m crossing my fingers I’m done with it when this post is published. I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
1. Renovation Of Love (Love On Madison Island #1)
The first library loan I have is on Meka James’ Renovation of Love which is one I’ve been so excited to read. I saw that the Brooklyn Public Library had this one so I didn’t have to buy it so I was of course, ecstatic. I think this is a second-chance romance with two older characters which is a rarity for me. Nevertheless, I like this author so I can’t wait.
2. Yes & I Love You (Say Everything #1)
The next library hold I have is on Yes & I Love You by Roni Loren. This book is one I don’t know much about. However, someone posted some steamy scenes from it on the RomanceBooks subreddit and since then, I’ve been wanting to read it. I don’t know much about this one, but this will be my first Roni Loren so I’m anxious to see if I enjoy her writing.
3. A Taste of Her Own Medicine (Small Town Romance #1)
Thankfully, the BPL is coming in clutch with these indie romances and after reading If She Says Yes, I knew I wanted to read more of Tasha L. Harrison’s books. I honestly don’t know much about this but I adore the cover. I just love Tasha L. Harrison’s writing and she writes delightful smut so I want to see if this book is as enjoyable as her other one I’ve read.
4. Beautiful Beginning (Beautiful Bastard #3.5)
The next book I have on hold is Beautiful Beginning which is book 3.5 in the Beautiful series by Christina Lauren. This book is another novella in the series and it follows Chloe and Bennett’s wedding. These are mostly cheesy fun but I want to read this series in its entirety so I’m reading them in order.
5. The Rehearsals
This is the book I’m most nervous for as far as library holds go. This is a book I saw compared to You Deserve Each Other so I immediately put a hold on it. I think this is about a couple who wants to call off this wedding since it’s a disaster but it ends up being like a Groundhog Day situation. I’m just crossing my fingers that I like it.
Those are all my current KU loans and library holds. I’d love to know if you’ve read any of these and your thoughts. Before you finish reading my post, please take the time to look over these attached links to help with Black Lives Matter.
