Hello friends and fellow book lovers! For this week’s Monday post, I decided to talk about some books I plan on re-reading this year. In recent years, I’ve been re-reading more and more as there are a lot of books I love and want to revisit. Personally, I have a few that are going to be annual re-reads but there might be some books you won’t expect on here so let’s get into them. 🙂
5. Foolish Hearts
If you’ve been following me for years, then you’ll know how much I LOVE this book and how much I adore Emma Mills. This is easily my favorite book of hers and I’ve made a tradition to re-read it every year. I have yet to re-read it for 2021 but I know I”ll do it relatively soon. Either way, I absolutely adore this book and if you haven’t read Emma Mills before, this is an excellent place to start.
The next book I want to reread is Fumbled by Alexa Martin. This is the second book in the Playbook series and it’s easily my favorite of the series. This is a second-chance romance and I love the relationship in this. While things start off pretty rocky, their relationship really starts to flourish and I just LOVE how everything works out in the end. Once again, this is one of my favorites so I highly recommend it.
3. You Deserve Each Other
The next book I plan on re-reading is one that I re-read twice last year. In total, I read it three times and I think about this book constantly. I still haven’t read her next book but I plan on reading this one again lmao. Either way, this book makes me so happy and every time I think about it, I get SO happy. This is easily one of those books I know I’ll be re-reading every year from this point on.
2. After I Do
The next book I want to re-read is probably pretty surprising as I rarely hear anyone talk about this book. This is one of Taylor Jenkins Reid’s earlier books and it’s more romance/women’s fiction which I enjoy. This book features a married couple who decide to separate for a year and evaluate their feelings before they make a decision. As someone who is in a pretty serious relationship, I want to see how I feel about this book versus the headspace I was in the last time I read it.
1. Guarding Temptation
The last book I plan on rereading in 2021 is Guarding Temptation by Talia Hibbert. I own all of Talia’s books now and I knew I wanted to reread at least one of them. Of all her books, this is probably one of my least favorites and I can’t wait to see if I end up enjoying it more upon the second read. Either way, this is easily the one I’m most excited to dive back into.
Those are all of the books I plan on re-reading. There might be a few more but for now, those are the five on my list. Fingers crossed I end up getting to them before the year ends. Before you finish reading my post, please take time to look over these attached links to help with Black Lives Matter.
