Hello friends and fellow book lovers! If you didn’t know, I utilize Kindle Unlimited to do a lot of my reading as I’m a huge romance reader. I also have a library card for the Philly library and an out-of-state card, too. I’m a big perponent of using both as I pretty much get a book from either avenue when I’m deciding to read something. In honor of how much I use both of them, I decided to talk about all the books I have out from KU and the books I have on hold at the library.
With all that being said, I might make this a regular thing on my blog as I do use these two things a lot so it might help others find some books to read or even a nice way for me to look back and see what I was reading at this time so let’s get into it. 🙂
Kindle Unlimited Loans
1. Small Town Curves: BBW Friends To Lovers (The Blackwoods)
The first book I have out from KU is Small Town Curves: BBW Friends To Lovers. This is a book I saw randomly on KU and since I love the friends-to-lovers trope, I decided to borrow it. I know it’s a pretty short book and that it doesn’t have many ratings on Goodreads. The cover is really what drew me in and I feel like it has the potential to be a new favorite for me.
2. A Dash Of Spice (Lights Camera Insta-Love #2)
The next book I have out from KU is one that I have on my #SpringIntoLoveBingo TBR. The prompt was for reality tv I think and these books follow people who meet during an reality baking competition. I read the first book in the series and didn’t love it but I’m excited to get into the second one. This is a romance between a contestant and one of the judges, I think but it’s short and steamy so it’ll be perfect for the prompt.
3. He’s Just A Friend
The next book is another one I have checked out for #SpringIntoLoveBingo. This one is for the prompt of “Favorite Trope” as my favorite trope is friends-to-lovers. I’m pretty sure this is about two friends who become friends with benefits and then it turns into a romance. I’ve read a book by this author before and I want to give her a second chance so that’s why I decided to use this one.
4. Ever After Always (Bergman Brothers #3)
The last book I have checked out from KU is Ever After Always by Chloe Liese. This book is the third in a series and it follows the Bergman sister and her relationship with her husband. I think it’s a marriage-in-trouble and it’s them coming back to each other. I absolutely adore this series and I love reading books about relationships-in-trouble so I’m very excited. This one definitely has the potential to be another new favorite for me.
1. Her Pretend Christmas Date (Cider Bar Sisters #2.5)
The first book I have on hold at the library is Her Pretend Christmas Date by Jackie Lau. This is a Christmas novella in her Cider Bar Sisters series and I adore this series. It’s just so delightful and I really can’t wait to see Julie’s story. These books are just so fun and I’m so happy my library has all of her books available to read. Her books are low-angst and I almost always end up enjoying them.
2. The Ex Talk
The next book I have on hold at the library is The Ex Talk by Rachel Lynn Solomon. This book is one I’ve heard a lot of buzz about and I was excited to read it but then Ellyn suggested that we buddy-read it together which sounds great. This is another book that I feel like has the potential to be a new favorite. I’ll be so happy when the hold comes off and I can see if it’ll live up to the hype for me.
Those are all of the books I currently have out via KU and the books I’m waiting to read from the library. This was a relatively short post but I think I’m going to try and do this occasionally as it’s a pretty fun post and I also like seeing what others have on hold.
