Hello friends and fellow book lovers! Welcome to my Monday post and to start off the week, I’m going to be talking about 10 books releases I’m excited for in 2021. I might try to do this for movies or TV shows if I feel like I’m motivated. For now though, I’m going to be talking about the book releases I’m excited for and maybe one of you might want to buddy-read with me so let’s get into it 😀
10. We Can’t Keep Meeting Like This
The first anticipated release for me is actually a YA book and that’s We Can’t Keep Meeting Like This. The cover is what drew me to this one and I’m pretty sure it’s about two people who keep getting stuck together and it’s basically about them realizing their feelings for each other. I might be wrong but this sounds like it’s going to be a lot of fun and it’ll be the perfect spring/summer read.
9. The Close-Up: A Hollywood Renaissance Novella
The next book I’m excited for this year is an adult romance and that’s The Close-Up by Kennedy Ryan. I honestly don’t know much about this one but it’s Kennedy Ryan so I’m excited for it. That’s really all I have to say because she’s a phenomenal writer and I’ll read anything she writes.
8. First Comes Like (Modern Love #3)
The next book I’m excited for is the third book in the Modern Love series. This book features a romance between a hijab main character who is an influencer and it’s her being hooked up with a guy from the previous book I think. This sounds like it’s going to be a lot of fun and that it’ll be another solid addition to the series.
7. Abel (Sabine Valley #1)
The next anticipated release on my list is Abel by Katee Robert. I’ve enjoyed basically everything by this author and she’s been teasing it for months. Since then, I’ve been super excited to read this and I know it’s going to be super steamy so honestly, what’s not to love? It’s also set to be 7-book series which just sounds great. I know this one is already out so hopefully, I get to it soon.
6. What’s Not to Love
The next book I’m excited for in 2021 is easily What’s Not to Love by Emily Wibberley and Austin Siegemund-Broka. I’m pretty sure this book is another Shakespeare-inspired retelling and I’m so excited to read it. I didn’t end up enjoying their previous release so I hope this one is another solid read. I’m crossing my fingers it has the same magic as the other releases since Time Of Our Lives didn’t hit.
5. Twice Shy
The next book should come as no surprise and that’s Twice Shy by Sarah Hogle. I absolutely adored this author’s debut in 2020 so I’m super excited to read her next book. I feel like she does a great job of putting the comedy in a rom-com and that’s not always easy. Plus that cover is just so adorable so I’m eager to finally read this book and see if it ends up as delightful as her first book.
4. The Box in the Woods (Truly Devious #4)
The next book on this list is actually the last YA book on my list and that’s The Box in the Woods. I originally thought that The Hand on the Wall was going to be the conclusion but she decided to add another book. This one follows Stevie after she left the school and it’s her solving a mystery on her own I’m pretty sure?? Either way, I’m excited as this series is a lot of fun.
3. The Bride Bet (Girl Meets Duke #4)
The next anticipated release I have for 2021 is The Bride Bet by Tessa Dare. I was SO hyped for this book to come out in 2020 and then it was pushed back. This one follows the last girl in the group, Nicola and it’s her reuniting with a guy she used to be engaged to or planned to marry. Either way, I’m excited to read this book as this series is a lot of fun and is one of the few historical romances I actually like.
2. The Heart Principle (The Kiss Quotient #3)
The next book I’m excited for in 2021 is The Heart Principle which is another one that pushed back. This book is finally going to be Quan’s book and I’ve been so excited to read his story. He’s probably my favorite of all the love interests in this series and I can’t get enough of him. I hope they don’t push it back again and we finally get to read his story this year.
1. Act Your Age, Eve Brown (The Brown Sisters #3)
The final anticipated release for me in 2021 is Act Your Age, Eve Brown. If you saw my author guide to Talia Hibbert, then you’ll know how much I love her. There’s no way I couldn’t include this book at the top spot. Her books are incredible and I’ve loved this entire series. I’m also super excited to read Eve’s story and to see what Talia Hibbert does next. Plus this is one I know I’ll be pre-ordering as soon as I can. 😀
Those are 10 book releases I’m excited for in 2021. I went with 10 since it was an even number and I didn’t want to list too many books. Even though this one has a lot of sequels, I’m pretty sure a lot of them are concluding books in series and that’s something to be excited about.
