The End of the Year Book Tag

Hello friends and fellow book lovers! When this post goes up, I’ll be leaving my man’s house which is sad lmao. However, I knew I wanted to make my post a little bit early so I could send more time with him. Before getting started, this tag was created by Ariel from Ariel Bissett so you can check out her video if you want to see the original. 🙂

This tag has been going around on Youtube and I think it’s a lot of fun. With that being said, let’s get into my answers for this tag because it’s pretty short.

Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?

Personally, I rarely start a book and don’t finish it or at the very least, I DNF it so the short answer for this is no.

Do you have an autumnal book to transition into the end of the year?

Personally, I’m going to be reading tons of Christmas books this year and the first one I read this year was Wrapped Up in You by Talia Hibbert. No surprise as Talia Hibbert is easily my favorite romance author. Basically, I was destine to love this book and I really did lmao.

Is there a new release you’re still waiting for?

For me, this has to be Rilzy Adams’ new Christmas short, Ho! Ho! Ho! which sounds like it’s going to be a fun Christmas smutty delight. Maybe when this post goes up, it’ll already be out. Either way, I’m extremely excited for it as it sounds like it’s going to be incredible.

What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?

For me, the three books that come to mind are Time of Our Lives by Emily Wibberley and Austin Siegemund-Broka, Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes by Suzanne Collins and Truth or Dare by Danielle Allen. I’ve had that last book on my Kindle forever but have yet to read it so I’m excited to finally get to it.

Is there a book you think could still shock you and become your favorite book of the year?

The only book I think could shock things and make my top books of the year is easily How to Catch a Queen by Alyssa Cole. Not only does this cover look amazing but the premise sounds awesome. It seems like it’s going to be a great romance between a married couple which I’m a sucker for.

Have you already started making reading plans for 2021?

Yes! Personally, I’ve been making plans with Ellyn for the upcoming year for months it feels like lmao so simple answer, yes. You’ll be getting more info about it when the new year starts so get excited!!
