Announcement: Read and Chill-A-Thon!

Hello friends and fellow book lovers! I have a very exciting announcement and if you’ve read the title, then you know. I’m going to be co-hosting a read-a-thon with one of my best blogging friends, Malanie!

It’s going to be called the Read and Chill-A-Thon. This read-a-thon is all about taking it easy and reading as much or as little as you want. Originally, we struggled to come up with a name but this is the same vein as Netflix and Chill. Instead of being sexy, it’s focused on curling up with a good book.

Unlike other read-a-thons, this is going to be the entire month of November. Originally, we were only going to do it for a week. Instead, this read-a-thon will take place from November 1st to November 30th.

Similar to other read-a-thons, there are 4 challenges! Basically, this is a free-for-all if you’re participating. If you want to use one book to complete all the challenges, go for it. If you want to read 4 books to complete them, go for it. If you want to read more books, then do it!

These are the 4 challenges we came up with!

• Read a book featuring your favorite trope
• Read a book someone has recommended
• Read a new-to-you author
• Read the group book, The Hating Game or buddy read a book with someone

Overall, this read-a-thon is just about having fun and taking it easy. The year is almost done and with it brings the stress of the holidays. You shouldn’t be stressing out about reading and rather, should have fun with it!
