Hello friends and fellow book lovers! I know I haven’t been on Goodreads for long, but I love it. It’s a great way to keep track of the books I read, discover books I never would and keep up with what my friends are reading.
Before I get started, I’m writing this tag a little early so you might be looking at my Goodreads and scratching your head. My apologies friend! I always schedule posts early so it’ll be a little bit delayed since it’s only March 1st 😛
Thank you so much to Malaine for tagging me. She’s so wonderful and makes me feel like my blog is wonderful. Please check out her blog because she deserves all the love ❤ ❤
1. What was the last book you marked as ‘read’?
ha ha ha I’m not okay
2. What are you currently reading?
Currently, I’m reading The Cruel Prince and after I finish it, I’m going to pick up either A Girl Like That or Hunting Prince Dracula.
3. What was the last book you marked as TBR?
I need to read this! I love Jason Reynolds but I want my own physical copy or possibly the audiobook. I’m too indecisive as I’ve heard such wonderful things about the audiobook but I love having the physical book.
4. What book do you plan to read next?
Since I’ve already mentioned two books I want to read, I’m going with a different one.
5. Do you use the star rating system?
Yes, I do. I love the star rating system since I rarely write reviews on Goodreads. I use the star system to basically show how much I liked or disliked a book.
6. Are you doing a 2018 reading challenge?
Yes! This year, I’m planning on reading 100 books this year and I’m happy with my progress so far. 🙂
7. Do you have a wishlist?
I don’t have one on Goodreads. No one I know IRL uses Goodreads and I doubt any of my blogger friends would surprise me with a birthday gift lol. The only wishlist I use is on Barnes and Noble as a guide for new releases to buy.
8. What book do you plan to buy next?
In 2018, I set a goal to order a new release each month. By the time this posts, I will have already placed my March and April order so I’ll buy Girl Made of Stars as my May new release 🙂
9. Do you have any favorite quotes?
“He’s more myself than I am. Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same.” –Wuthering Heights, Emily Bronte
Is there a more iconic quote from Wuthering Heights?? Ugh, I just love it so much and I get heart eyes every time I read it. ❤
10. Who are your favorite authors?
- Jason Reynolds
- Angie Thomas
- Emma Mills
- Emery Lord
- Nina LaCour
- Becky Albertalli
As you can tell, I love contemporary authors haha.
11. Have you joined any groups?
Yes and I tried to interact, but either no one talked to me or they talked too much for me so there’s no winning.
